This couples wedding journey is one not be forgotten, with Shelby herself being no stranger to the industry. She is the proud owner of her own events company ‘Ooh La La Events’ which provides a whole host of services for any event including the most beautiful flower walls, balloon arches and much more. Her fiancé Brad is a local firefighter and together they make the cutest couple who deserved the best wedding day.
They set the date for February 2021 and started making their plans – only to be scuppered by the dreaded covid lockdowns. They rearranged for 22nd December 2021 and were determined to make it happen. Being a Clitheroe couple and raising their young family here in the heart of the Ribble Valley they wanted to obviously use local suppliers for the day. They chose the beautiful Eaves Hall as their Venue, set in the rolling countryside it really is the most spectacular place to get married. With decorations from ‘Flowergirls of Whalley’ and the cake from ‘The Sweet thing Cakery’ all was ready for the happy couple to tie the knot!
The wedding morning finally dawned and whilst the rest of the world manically ran around secret santa shopping, Shelby spent the morning prosecco in hand being pampered by ‘Scarlett Feathers make up’ and ‘Lucy HB hair’.

Brad and Shelby’s two gorgeous little girls looked adorable in their handmade tutu’s from the ‘Doodle’s Tutu’s’ department of Amelia’s Bridal – sorry Shelby but they might have stole the show just on cute factor!

Shelby Wowed her groom and her guests in her incredible fitted, off the shoulder and all over beaded Sottero and Midgley gown from ‘Amelia’s Bridal’. Sottero and Midgley is a very distinguished and respectable label in bridal world that focusses on the exquisite quality, cut and fit of their gowns – Shelby looked absolutely radiant as she made her way down the aisle. Brad was waiting for her in his very dapper blue flannel suit also from Amelia’s menswear department.

After the ceremony it was time to celebrate the day and as a personal touch Brad’s fire engine even made an appearance! Speeches were made, wine drank and tears shed as the day they had waited for passed in a blur, in the blink of an eye it was time to party the night away and ‘Girl’s on Sax’ certainly made sure that the evening was a night to remember with their show stopping saxophone skills that have a modern and edgy twist making them one of the best acts around for your wedding night.

A good photographer is one of the most important people in your wedding team and ‘Jules Fortune Photography’ were there making sure that every element and emotion of the day was pictured ready for them to look back on for years to come and share the pictures with their children and grandchildren. We are sure that whenever they are poring over their photos they will remember it as one of the best days of their lives.

One thing left to do and that was jet off on Honeymoon, where better than Mexico! Shelby kept us updated via her socials and it looked like they had the most amazing time!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Tanner.
A true love story…… here’s to the rest of your lives together xxxx
