Natalie & Sam

Natalie!!

When this brides wedding pics landed in our inbox, just WOW.  Our gorgeous Natalie and her bride tribe looked magazine photoshoot perfect.

You know when you first get engaged and you are all celebrating and then you all of a sudden think, oh my days I need to plan a wedding – off to pinterest you  go and type in ‘wedding inspo’  this is what Natalie’s day was – pinterest worthy, dazzling detail, bridal dream.

But lets just rewind a sec, right back to October 2020 when this cute couple got engaged.  Natalie knew it was going to happen as she had already chosen her ring with Sam – the details however she had no idea of and wow did the boy do good! Natalie and Sam share a love of channel 4’s Taskmaster show, so Sam arranged for them to go to the actual house where a series of clues led Natalie to her ring!

Now they had a wedding to plan…. CUE THE DRESS SHOPPING!! Every girls dream is that she will just know when she steps into her bridal gown – and that’s what happened.  When this gorgeous gal came for her first appointment with Amelia’s, our beautiful Emily was her bridal consultant and we were all enraptured by Natalie’s excitement and zest for her wedding plans.

The moment the Polina dress by Mori Lee was on, Natalie knew she was getting married in this gown.  Illusion back, lace and sparkle bodice with a waterfall simple ivory skirt – it made our blushing bride feel the most beautiful girl in the world  – to be fair she’s probably not far off! We ordered a completely plain veil for her and had extra lace from the dress designer sewn on by our very own seamstress and owner of Amelia’s, Jo – there was even enough applique left to customise Natalie’s bridal shoes and there it was – dress, shoes and veil all ready for the big day.

Drawing inspo from rustic wedding vibes and natural shades, it all began to come into place.  Woolas Barn in York – their chosen wedding venue was absolutely stunning, suited Natalie and Sam’s tastes and the perfect party barn for the nighttime celebrations.

The morning of the wedding finally arrived and the groom and his men were looking dashing in their chequered country suits and cinnamon ties – perfectly coordinated with Natalie’s stunning bride tribe who wore cinnamon figure hugging dresses topped off with their cute and funky white heart sunglasses that made these wedding shots look like a styled wedding shoot!

The day went perfectly and judging by Natalie’s insta, it was a magical day for everyone.  Tears were shed, vows were promised and the fizz flowed – a recipe for the most perfect wedding anyone could dream of.  Our happy couple are planning on having a relaxing first Christmas as a married couple before they jet off on honeymoon  to Thaliand and Vietnam in the spring for an amazing three weeks together making memories.  Who would have thought a night out in Manchester could lead to this beautiful couple living the rest of their lives together – imagine if one of them had stayed in!
